HEATHER & CARL (and Dixie!)

We met Heather for the first time this summer at our "adopted daughter", Chelsey's wedding. Heather was Chelsey's maid of honor. We met again at the bridal fair a few weeks later when Heather was working the booth for Catering Creations out of the Albert Pike and that was the beginning of a fun friendship!

Last weekend, we met at Woolly Hollow State Park because Heather wanted some holiday pictures. This was the first time that we had met Carl, so he didn't really know what to expect, but he was as much fun as Heather, so we had a blast!

Oh, and this is Dixie! She is Heather's pride and joy.

Thanks Heather and Carl (and Dixie, too) for a fabulous Sunday afternoon! We hope that you had as much fun as we did!

Keith & Jennifer

Yesterday was a wedding that had been in the planning for more than a year. There were family members coming from many places but this portion of the family was here from the grand state of Texas. We had not met Keith & Jennifer before Thursday, but we had talked on the phone a few times. Keith is Ashlie's dad (our 4th of July bride) and they were here to give this precious girl to her groom. It had been quite some time since they had had images made together and liked Ashlie & Jonathan's engagements, so we made plans to take some time before the rehearsal on Thursday to have some fun. And FUN, we did have! They were staying at The Peabody Hotel in Little Rock, so we began there...
...then we moved to Riverfront Park planning to play in the water with the temps reaching into the upper 90's, but found a tunnel to play in instead!

Thank you Jennifer & Keith for trusting the special task to us. It was a pleasure and we are glad to be able to call you friends!

MAYCEY, newborn

16 days ago, Maycey made her entrance into this world promising to be the sunshine in many lives! Today, we not only had the honor of taking her Newborn images, but also cuddling and kissing on her just a little. Watch out guys, she's a heart breaker all ready! She has her Uncle Rob wrapped right around her little finger...

Before we know it, these little feet will be taking her out into the world...

...and these little hands will be sharing love in places yet unknown...

She was totally cooperative until she got a bit sleepy...

So, we decided a little snooze wasn't such a bad thing...
...because then we could see her eyes again and she was ready to go some more.

Such a sweet little lady. Thanks Rachel for letting us share this time with you!

CHAD & KORI

We have a connection with Chad and Kori that looks back a number of years but each with different situations. Kori's family were fellow home school friends, but on rival basketball teams! Kori played at the time our Natalie did and Kori's sister played directly opposite our Amber. The younger two, due to their personality types, had some pretty heated competitions, where the two older played more for fun! All four were great fun to watch and cheer on.

Now, Chad we knew through his mom, Sheila. She keeps us looking presentable (our hair that is). So we watched him grow in pictures on Sheila's stylist station. Both Chad and Kori have grown into beautiful young adults, both inside and out.

A couple of weeks ago I talked to Chad's mom about the theme she was using for their rehearsal dinner and when she told me that she was using a baseball theme and wanted to do baseball cards, I thought that that was an outstanding idea! Obviously they are not fans of the same team, so this made it even more interesting. We all wanted to meet on a ball field, but with as much rain as we had had, that was impossible, so we took the competition inside. Things started off light and fun...
...and then the mood changed a bit...
...when the conversation turned to who's team was the best....
But all in all, they decided to agree to disagree. If they can keep that frame of mind in all of their disagreements throughout their married life, it will be much sweeter. Chad and Kori will be exchanging vows on June 14 in Benton. We pray God's richest blessings on your life together.

King's Kids
Part of yesterday afternoon was spent with the King family of King's Kids Children's Clothier doing some promotional work for them as well as some fun family pictures. They have some terrific young people and some outstanding clothing! If you haven't found that perfect Easter outfit for your young people, check them out at 740 S. Salem Road Ste. 109, here in Conway (501-450-9900). You will find them in the shopping center just behind The Bear's Den at the corner of Dave Ward and Salem. Watching them interact with one another was a blessing to us. It is very evident that the love runs deep.

Elizabeth is a natural when it comes to modelling! She had an opportunity at Market recently to test out the runway for herself! I would not be surprised to see her in some of the top magazines in the future (all kidding aside!).
Rachel has a quiet, sweet spirit, but when you catch her unaware...she really performs!

We had been waiting for this sunshine all too long and oh how good it felt on the face, but NOT on little Rachel's eyes. :)

Joshua had some moves of his own that may lead him to GQ in years to come.

I'm not sure who was getting the better of whom, but it was fun to watch. :)

One of King's Kids casual ware for the young man in your life.
And then for the more formal occasion...

I love these colors!...and these girls...

Caleb may have the look of a tough guy, but a heart of mush lurks beneath that exterior. Watch out ladies!

Rachel showing off that she can do the model moves as well.

This was one of my favorites! The embroidery and fluff are gorgeous!

Thank you, Jerry, Donna and family for inviting us to be a part of your lives. You have left fingerprints that we like! We will have the rest of your images ready soon.
