After months and months of planning and hours and hours of work, Amy and Justin celebrated the union of their lives and their families. The day began early at the salon for all of the girls, then moved to Garvan Woodland Gardens for dressing, the ceremony and a cake and punch reception. It was a gorgeous fall day and the temperature was just perfect!

Jan, Amy's mom helps her with the finishing touches of getting dressed.
We had the blessing of helping Amy with her groom's gift! Here she prepares to send it by way of her brother Eric, directly to Justin's hands before the ceremony.
Preparing to exchange rings as Jan watches in the background.
Both Amy and Justin had lost grandparents recently and in memory of them, they released butterflies. The butterflies enjoyed the company so much that they wanted to stick around!
Taking care of the formalities before the pastor had to leave...
The memory remains in their hearts forever.
After the cake and punch reception, the festivities continued in Benton with a dinner reception and dance at Silver Springs Country Club in Benton, AR. The decorations were lovely and created an intimate atmosphere. The decorator was Melanie Roberson, a friend of the bride and groom's moms ...just starting her new business Mélange in Benton. Here are a few of her creations...
Having DREAMed of the future...
And continuing to LOVE with all of their hearts...
Amy and Justin BELIEVE that their life together holds many joys...
Amy calls this her "Crazy Cake"! She had her traditional, beautiful wedding cake and an exceptional Razorback cake at the garden reception, but this is one of the fun cakes at the dinner reception! Tracie Rich of Cakery Affairs in Bryant really outdid herself with each of these!
And then...the first dance as Mr. & Mrs. Justin Nichols...
The next Shania Twain? You never know...
Couple's time is always fun...it gives the bride and groom a few minutes to just play, have a bit more fun AND show off a bit...
"I always knew she was hot...and now..."
"she's mine..."
Amy and Justin, this past year has been a blast working with you and your families! We don't want it to end here. We look forward to the time when you begin your family and we get to do pictures of the "baby tummy" and then the little people that will bless your lives with more joy. You are terrific people and we are blessed to have been a part of your special day.
The complete wedding will be available for viewing in a few weeks at the EVENT LINK at the top of the page or from the website.

Yesterday we spent the day with Lisa, Keith and their families as we witnessed and celebrated the union of two lives and two families. Lisa did a superb job of planning and coordinating all of the beautiful details of this magnificent day. They chose to exchange vows in the glass chapel at Garvan Woodland Gardens in Hot Springs, AR, mid-afternoon. The light was beautiful coming in at just the right angle to cast a glow on Lisa and her dress making her look just like an angel as she glided toward her future husband.
She chose vibrant red roses as her bouquet...
Contemplating her future just before the ceremony...
A daddy's love for his precious jewel prepares her heart for the love that she will have for her husband and from the love that is so obvious in the eyes of this bride when she looks at her groom...she was well prepared.
As Keith stood at the altar, anticipating his first vision of his bride to be, this is what he saw...
Anticipation turns to a vision of beauty...

And now, to have and to hold from this day forward...
...till death do us part...
...and then...the celebration!!!
Keith kept the honeymoon location a secret from Lisa until they were well on their way!!! I would say that by now, she is pleasantly surprised with all of Keith's planning.
Thank you Lisa and Keith for including us in the celebration of your new life together! We pray all of GOD's richest blessing on you.

Last weekend was Lindsay and Stephen's e-session. They are BIG Razorback fans, so when we saw this sign we knew we had to have a shot here! We had met Lindsay and Stephen at the bridal fair last month. Well, actually they met Natalie, one of our featured brides. They visited extensively and decided that we were a good match and needless to say, we thought so as well.
They each liked the look of downtown Little Rock and there are several places that are special to them, including Willie D's. There are a number of images in their complete event taken there that are outstanding. But then, when you have gorgeous people to work with, they make it easy.

The Albert Pike Hotel will host the nuptials, so we decided to see what fun things we could find inside. When we pulled up out front, the street is full of fire engines! Thankfully, there was no major damage so we could not resist the temptation to include these fire engines in the evening.
Lindsay will be relocating in a couple of weeks from TX to Little Rock. She will begin her new job at Arkansas Children's Hospital in the radiology department. I'm sure that Stephen is counting the days until the time that she will be close at hand.
Lindsay and Stephen, I apologize for taking so long getting a sneak peak posted for you! Your complete event will load tonight, so it should be ready for viewing by tomorrow evening. I will let you know as soon as it is ready.
Thank you Stephen and Lindsay for including us in the wonderfully special journey that you have begun together. It is a great honor!
What fun and an honor for Garrett of Garrett Nudd Photography to call and ask me to come and be the second shooter for him in a wedding in Tampa FL. The night before the wedding we shot images of Megan and Carlos for their engagement pictures. This is a couple that he will be doing their wedding later next year. Garrett had asked me not to post anything until he had the opportunity to get some images up on his blog. The images in the car we like really well because it looks like a commercial for eyeglasses. Garrett if you read this you can call me at anytime and Renee and I will be there. Thank you very much. I had a blast. I do hope you can use at least one of the images I got.

We got a call this week from our friend and colleague Garrett Nudd of Garrett Nudd Photography, asking Ron to be his second shooter at a wedding in Tampa this weekend! Garrett is an outstanding photographer and friend and Ron is excited to work with him again. We attended Garrett and Joy's Elevate seminar this past January in Orlando and the knowledge and wisdom shared by them as well as their guests Steven and Jennifer Bebb, was priceless. Above and beyond that, Garrett and Joy are great people. More to come...next week!
For those of you that enjoy sending personalized greeting cards during the holiday season, it is time to schedule your session! We have many card options and paper types for you to choose from, so give us a call and we will schedule a time to show you the possibilities.
